We don't recommend using cork as a cutting mat. Cork is a soft wood, and the force of a knife cutting into it would greatly diminish its lifespan and cause cuts that would be difficult to clean.

The exact answer will depend some on how densely you pack the ground/granulated cork but we do have a rough estimate for our granulated cork. 0.5-1mm granulated cork : 1kg - 9.8 liters

Yes, cork walls and flooring tiles can be used as a tabletop. Depending on the intended purpose of the tabletop, you may want to apply an epoxy coating to the tiles once installed to help seal and protect the cork.
