What type of stopper will best fit my bottle?
We recommend a
stopper stem that is 1mm larger than the internal bore diameter of your bottle. This ensures a snug, secure fit while still allowing the stopper to be inserted and removed with ease.
Stem Material by Product Type:
For higher proof or clear spirits, we recommend using a natural cork stem or a synthetic stem. These materials are the safest choice, as higher-proof and clear spirits are more susceptible to contamination or off-flavors from certain stem materials.
For lower proof spirits, hot sauce, and other bottled products, any stem type is generally suitable.
Available Stem Types:
- Natural cork — ideal for premium spirits, wines, and products where a traditional aesthetic is desired
- Synthetic — a consistent, inert alternative to natural cork, well-suited for high-proof and clear spirits
- FusionCork — suitable for lower proof spirits and other bottled products
